Carried in a dual Pelicase, Scytale provides a VoIP, GSM, satellite and data network that can be deployed and configured in less than five minutes - an ideal solution for military, aid agency, emergency responders and commercial users that require quick, flexible communications, with options of a secure VPN.
With its ability to connect over a broad range of communication bearers, the Scytale offers complete flexibility when selecting a network choice. The Picocell GSM option allows users to use their own mobile phones, communicating with anyone on the mobile network up to a range of 200 metres, in standard configuration. When used in conjunction with a satellite option this call range can extend to anywhere in the world and, correctly configured, the calls can be charged at local rates and user locations remain anonymous.
VoIP phones can also be used as part of the Scytale solution allowing standard office numbers and extensions to be dialled, removing the need for an additional communication device to be carried, while also providing location anonymity.
Scytale can be powered from its own long life, rugged battery or via a range of flexible power supply options and provides the ultimate communication solution for users operating in the most challenging of environments where no infrastructure exists.
