Use case – GLOBAL RESPONSE
We were approached by a Government Contractor who were required to operate globally on a diverse range of tasks and had previously relied on low-bandwidth, high-cost L-Band solutions simply because the hardware was cheap and upfront costs were minimal. Migrating to 6-SAT, they are now leasing world-leading terminals on high-speed GB (gigabyte) broadband data packages up to 10x faster and paying a fraction of the cost for airtime.
Utilising 6-SAT has been a game-changer for us and how we operate. The flexibility attracted us, leasing terminals that fit different needs at different times, but the ongoing support and ability to scale our contracts and data usage up and down has been the real winner. Use case – TELEMEDICINE
We were asked to support users who were frequently deployed to challenging locations, where they would need to send and receive large amounts of data, including streaming video, over a secure platform. Utilising 6-SAT we worked with the end-users to design a bespoke cloud solution, integrating their existing systems with our own SCYTALE range and the latest satellite terminals on offer, routing their data over least-cost satcom providers in their areas of operation.
When your data is quite literally life-saving, it’s critical your connectivity solution gets it right. We attended a satellite terminal demo from GRC and liked some of the kit on offer and it all grew from there. We gave GRC our solution and they gave us a range of options for terminals and airtime, as well as the option to route all our data via various cloud platforms for additional security and faster access to our data and applications in the field.
